About the Company

The company is a leading investment management and financial advisory platform focused on research-driven investment strategies, portfolio management, and alternative investment solutions. The organization serves a diverse investor base across institutional and wealth segments through PMS, AIF, and other investment offerings.

About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced AVP / VP – Institutional Business to drive institutional client acquisition, fundraising, and strategic relationship management across the investment ecosystem. The role will focus on building and managing relationships with Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Family Offices, Wealth Management Firms, Institutional Investors, Insurance Companies, and other key market participants.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong network within the institutional investment community, a proven track record in fundraising and capital raising, and experience distributing PMS, AIF, Equity, and alternative investment products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Institutional Business Development & Fundraising :

• Drive institutional business acquisition and fundraising initiatives across PMS, AIF, Equity, and related investment products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Family Offices, Wealth Management Firms, Institutional Investors, Insurance Companies, Banks, and Investment Platforms.
• Generate new capital inflows through strategic partnerships and relationship-led business development.
• Identify and cultivate prospective investors through continuous market mapping and networking.

2.Relationship Management :

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for key institutional clients and strategic partners.
• Maintain regular engagement with investors, distributors, and stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
• Strengthen existing relationships and increase wallet share through consultative engagement.
• Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, investor meetings, and networking events.

3.Capital Raising & Investor Engagement :

• Support fundraising campaigns and capital raising initiatives across investment products and strategies.
• Collaborate with investment teams to present market opportunities, investment strategies, and portfolio performance to investors.
• Manage investor communications, presentations, and business reviews.

4.Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion :

• Build strategic alliances across the institutional investment ecosystem.
• Develop distribution partnerships with wealth platforms, family offices, and institutional channels.
• Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the alternatives and wealth management landscape.

5. Team & Stakeholder Management :

• Collaborate with investment, product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to broader business growth initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• 5–12 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Institutional Business Development, Fundraising, Capital Raising, Investor Relations, Distribution, or Wealth Management.
• Demonstrated success in raising capital and managing institutional relationships.
• Experience selling or distributing PMS, AIF, Equity, Mutual Fund, Alternative Investment, or Wealth Management products.
• Strong network across Family Offices, Wealth Managers, Institutional Investors, Insurance Companies, and Investment Platforms.
