Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a young, energetic, and hands-on Head of HR to build, stabilize, and scale the people function for a fast-growing organization. The company is currently at 200 employees, with an ambitious expansion plan across 30+ new cities and the launch of new revenue lines.

This is a high-impact individual contributor + leadership role, where the Head of HR will own the complete HR lifecycle while building a scalable HR framework almost from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Stability

  • Own end-to-end HR operations: onboarding to exits.
  • Ensure compliance, HR policies, payroll, attendance, and statutory processes.
  • Bring structure and stability to a lean HR setup (currently 2-member team).

2. Talent Acquisition (TA) & Workforce Planning

  • Lead hiring strategy across business, operations, and technology teams.
  • Hands-on hiring for leadership, tech, and critical roles.
  • Scale hiring in line with multi-city expansion plans.

3. Performance Management & Employee Lifecycle

  • Design and drive performance management systems.
  • Build feedback, appraisal, and goal-setting frameworks aligned with business growth.
  • Manage employee engagement, retention, and exits effectively.

4. Scaling & Org Design

  • Support rapid expansion into 30+ cities.
  • Design scalable HR processes for new locations and revenue streams.
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership during growth phases.

5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the Founder/Leadership on people strategy.
  • Act as a culture carrier while balancing speed and structure.
  • Be a strong execution-focused HR leader, not just a policy owner.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8–12 years of HR experience, with exposure to both HR Operations and Talent Acquisition.
  • Mandatory experience in tech hiring, if TA has been handled.
  • Background from E-commerce, D2C, Quick Commerce, Amazon-like, or high-growth startup environments preferred.
  • Proven experience handling payroll, compliance, and performance management.
  • Comfortable working in a lean team setup and building systems ground-up.
  • Highly energetic, execution-driven, and business-oriented HR leader.
  • No gender preference.
